I write. I edit. And I take a lot of photos. Words and images are how I love to tell stories — from writing articles to editing books to curating photographs for social media.

Travel and culture are common themes throughout my work. Recent roles include serving as Marketing Writer and Editor for Backroads, the #1 active travel company in the world, and Editor for Hachette Book Group’s travel guides imprint, Avalon Travel Publishing. I’ve also been a part of AFAR Media’s digital team, where my social media work earned recognition by CSNBC and Refinery29. And my articles, along with some of my photography, have been published at AFAR, The Huffington Post, Matador Network, The Culture-ist, and Business Insider. I hold a BA in film and media from UC Irvine and an MFA in creative writing from Emerson College.

I’m currently based in San Francisco.
